Calportland Cement Company Production Control Supervisor/Operator
March 2009 to January 2013
As a supervisor /operator I implemented operational improvements to enhance
quality, improve production times and reduce costs. I aided in achieving
company goals by supporting production and maintenance needs. Duties also
include ensuring that all company policies and procedures are enforced and
ensuring that all state and federal health and safety are adhered to
guidelines. I also worked with MSHA inspectors during semiannual and
reported incident inspections. I was the team leader for weekly safety and
business process improvement meetings. I also maintained communication
between shifts and departments. Maintain employee records and create work
and purchase requests with the use of SAP.
Calportland Cement Company Maintenance Supervisor July 2012 to
October 2012
Filled in as Maintenance Supervisor for three months until position could
be filled. Responsibilities included assigning daily work and monitoring
the assigned jobs. I also maintained records for cost, time, and resulting
performance of future, current, and past jobs. Researched and ordered
required materials for future projects.
