• Build a Torque Vectoring Model using CARSIM and Simulink to improve the handling characteristics of the vehicle.

• Look over the Weight management of the project vehicle.

• Documentation of evidence book to report results and procedures of all the work done towards the chassis/suspension of the vehicle.

RECENT PROJECTS

‘Tire Blowout’ – Model Based Development using Matlab/Simulink and CARSIM Nov – Dec 2012

• Simulated a Tire Blowout simulation in a Full Size SUV using CARSIM and Simulink.

• Analyzed the subjective performance of the vehicle in a Double Lane Change maneuver during a Tire Blowout using performance metrics.

‘Adaptive Cruise Control System Design’ April – May 2012

Project undertaken for Automotive Stability and Safety Systems

• Investigate vehicle stability and safety systems.

• Designed an advanced adaptive cruise control model using SIMULINK & CARSIM

Experience with SIMULINK and Vehicle Dynamics:

• Built a complete Simulink model of ‘free controls’ and ‘forced controls’ vehicle model including the steering systems dynamics by implementing the steering system as a subsystem.

• Analyzed the basic directional stability for both steady state and transient behavior using a bicycle model approximation and cornering stiffness changes with speed.
