network as NAS and object and content-based storage. The Storage Systems

Directed the organization responsible for providing all Application and

Infrastructure Services in support of Healthcare IT at three datacenter

sites, five developer international and local locations and five customer

sites. The business provided design, development, implementation and

business process outsourcing solutions to state governments for their

Medicaid Management Information Systems, a core tool used to support the

administration of state Medicaid and other healthcare entitlement programs.

Responsible for all support, architecture, engineering, site management

and production control of all IT services. Directed a team of five

managers whose staff delivered services which spanned the entire Health PAS

lifecycle. Responsible for Business Development and RFP-response

preparation, architectural Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI),

production and ongoing support. Managed the relationship and services for

over 350 Developers and staff, as well as approximately 400 HIM employees

at sites in West Virginia, Virginia, Louisiana, Idaho and Maine.

Responsible for managing the HIM relationship with the Unisys Datacenters

and Unisys support organizations, Vendors, Finance, Contracts, and

Procurement.

. Created new operational procedures for Incident Response and Reporting.

Reduced Severity 1 tickets average count from 30 per day to 2; average

ticket resolution time from days to in many cases, less than one hour.

. Coordinated and developed new Change Control procedure. Standardized
