PROFILE

I am looking for work in manufacturing, maintenance, and assembly related fields as a technician. I have a

broad range of knowledge and experience with computers, flexographic printing, automotive

manufacturing, business, communication, and the liberal arts. I have worked in automotive related

manufacturing for 10 years, and I also have 6+ years working in customer service. I am currently working

as machine and building maintenance at a digital and flexographic printing business.

EXPERIENCE

Head of Facility and Press Maintenance/ Contractor Liason A&M Label, Wixom - 11/13/2012 - Current

I am responsible to make building, appliance and printing press repairs on both Mark Andy 2200 and P-5,

Aquaflex ELS, Webtron, and Nilpeter flexo presses, and coordinate with management to implement

updates and changes while allowing production to continue. I am also responsible for the buying of tools

and replacement parts, coordinating and hiring contractors and vendors for all building and equipment

needs that are beyond the scope of my position, and the safety of our facility.

Production Operator/Trainer, A123 Systems, Livonia MI- 7/05/2011-10/16/2012

I was responsible for training people in the safe and efficient operation of a battery cell ultrasonic tab

welding machine and associated H.M.I. touchscreen for operation. Duties were: maintaining a clean and 5s

compliant workplace, supplying needed materials into the tab welder, monitoring production quantity and

quality using computers, gages, and calipers, and helping to diagnose problems while ensuring open

communication between myself and coworkers, team leaders, maintenance, and supervision as needed.

Industrial Pyrometry/Assembly Technician, Livonia Ford Transmission, Livonia, MI 09/1999-07/2008

I was responsible for maintaining safe and effective temperatures in industrial heat treat furnaces through

the installation, maintenance, and repair of temperature sensing equipment and the recording and

calibration of that equipment. My duties included reading electrical prints to perform troubleshooting and

wiring and rewiring of electric motors and digital temperature controls, assembling parts for theAX4S

transmission while ensuring quality, fast-paced assembly of the Mazda6 and Mustang at various points of

the process, and maintaining assembly machinery on various assembly lines.

Production Technician, Filtra Systems; Farmington Hills, MI 08/1998 - 08/1999

I worked with hand tools to help fashion industrial filtration belts using various materials including

urethane, cotton, polyester, and rubber. I used chalk lines, metal grinders, exacto knives, urethane

compound, operated a hi-lo, and a heated urethane press to accomplish my tasks. I was often expected to

work under my own supervision.
