Quality Assurance / Primary Testing Technician

Responsible for the inspecting, testing (including verification of primary,

secondary and emergency systems), of the continuous miners Caterpillar

builds. I also provide the permissive endorsement for the equipment to

ship. I am in contact with other locations that I coordinate with while

they build similar equipment and I regularly travel to verify paperwork,

conduct inspection and testing of the equipment they build as well.

My other duties include but are not limited to:

. I process non-conformance reports from the entire plant and determine the

responsible parties who I then assign to perform the required corrective

action. I perform similar duties for defective purchased parts.

. Have written the currently used electrical inspection procedure for the

continuous miners and co-written other procedures used as standard

procedure while the miners are being assembled and tested.

. I collect and process other verification and testing documents from

different departments and check them for completeness before filling them

on the server.

US Navy 2000 to 2008

Responsible for a six person team, and coordination with other teams, in
