Summary
I have spent over 6 years in the HVAC field beginning with three
years of installation experience and the last 3 years in the design of a
wide variety of HVAC systems and CAD drafting including central systems,
chillers, boilers, exhausters, make-up air systems, sewage, floor heating
and clean rooms. I have also designed plumbing systems, waste water
systems, and pool facilities. Deep knowledge of AUTOCAD, CARRIER HAP,
SOLIDWORKS, compressors, pumps, turbines, pressure vessels, boilers,
heaters, heat exchangers, cooling towers, air conditioning and
refrigeration equipment, fire fighting equipment and etc. I am really
interested to work in oil, gas and HVAC companies.
OBJECTIVE
I am looking for a career in Facilities or Mechanical Engineering to
utilize my skills of designing, HVAC calculating, Piping or AUTOCAD
drafting in city buildings, city areas or any other city facilities.
WORK HISTORY
Overall: Over 100,0000 square feet of CAD drafting and heating-cooling
loads calculation in Residential, Commercial & industrial mechanical
facilities.
2005 - 2013 : Toos Belad Construction & Installation Co. in Iran (Middle
East)
Position: HAVC design & CAD drafting & Mechanical Supervisor
Duties: Responsible for engineering of HVAC to create CAD drawings
including ductwork, Process Piping, Plumbing, flow diagrams, isometric
drawings and Fire Protection. Calculate the design heating & cooling load
of proposed building for HVAC and submit to consultant / client for review
& approval. Implement cost effective TO measures to reduce project cost.
Prepare HVAC Drawings (HVAC Plan, Section, Schematic, and Balancing)
respect to design requirements and contract requirements with coordination
of other disciplines and submitted as per the approved schedules to the
consultant / client for review & approval. Attend technical meetings with
consultant/client/contractor and weekly progress meetings with the client.
Create all architecture background files from blue prints or hand drawings.
Worked on buildings ranging from 4000 to 200,000 sq. ft. Responsible
for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Compressed Air Systems and other
mechanical systems. Very proficient in ASHRAE 90.1 standards.
Commercial HVAC mechanical designer. Software included Carrier HAP, MS
Office & AutoCAD 2007. Responsible for the quality of HVAC systems for
residential and commercial systems for the Iranian schools. More than two
years experience in the consulting engineering field.
2009 - 2010 : Wersbu & Uponor Agency in Iran (Middle East)
Position: Mechanical consultant & CAD drafting
Duties: I was hired as a Mechanical CAD draftsman and facilities designer
to calculate and drafts all type of HVAC equipment and ductwork for a
variety of buildings. Completes and update red marks, draw sketches and as-
built drawings. 50% of my time was devoted to sales. The other 50% was
writing Scope and Fees, calculating thermal loads, designing duct systems,
system zoning, energy analysis, design specs, and plumbing. Design of
heating and air conditioning system for many of projects. Facility
design/upgrade of existing systems, primarily fire protection and HVAC
systems Development and layout of engineering intent using computer-aided
design software Designing mechanical room in building over 5 floor
(including: boilers, water pumps, water tank ) by Carrier software.
Designing piping system (including: water and waste water ) in building
(Plumbing) by AutoCAD. Building load calculations done with Carrier E20 .
2004 - 2004 ( 3months - Part time): Training (Toos Power Plant ) in Iran
(Middle East)
Position: Mechanical Engineer
Duties: Refinery & Boiler department - Research in industrial valves. I was
hired as a CAD Instructor to teach students first quarter basic drafting,
second quarter AUTOCAD R14, 2000 and third quarter architectural drafting
and design and six-quarter project development management. I was
responsible to repair the CAD lab install software, hardware and solve
troubleshooting problems.
