Reliability Test Engineer II

• Review, design and implement test capability including equipment, fixtures, test methods and test limits to assure precise, error free, efficient testing.

• Direct acquisition and instillation of equipment and test fixtures for Vishay products in accordance with military, customer and corporate engineering and quality department specifications.

• Review military, customer or test plan specifications, method and limits, and provide quotations of testing capability, equipment, fixtures, costs, turnaround and schedules.

• Work closely with Test Facilities Engineer to maintain daily Test Lab operational capability and to enhance the continued growth, improvement and addition of new test capability.

• Coordinate with Test Operations Supervisor and Test Technicians the best timing for incorporation of new military specifications, amendments and revisions into Test Lab operations.

• Actively participates in the development, installation and maintenance of Failure Rate programs for military QPL programs

• Responsible for supervision and administration of operations for the Calibration lab.

• Develop new methods and procedures for inspection, test, and evaluation of product and component failures.

• Analyze data to determine product lifetimes and failure rates.
