experienced in a fast paced engineering environment. As a successful

Sr. Piping Designer, Nov. 19, 2013-Mar. 11, 2013, BWSC. Knoxville, TN
Worked as a contracted Lead Sr. Piping designer supervising and working on
CFC drawings for a new construction steel mill plant in Athens, AL.
Responsibilities included being directly responsible for supervising the
design, turnover and construction of all drawings associated with the VAR
(Remelt) facilities process piping.
Reviewed and approved all 2D drawings and 3D modeling produced by design
team before proceeding for CFC.
Pipe Support Design Modeler, Jan. 4, 2010-Nov. 16, 2012, SHAW Grp.
Charlotte, NC.
Worked primarily with designing pipe supports in 3D model for CFC drawings
based on stress analysis utilizing Pelican Forge, Micro-Station, and Smart
Plant Review.
Maintained working models and pipe support data base for AP1000 Nuclear
Plant design and ASME B31.1 standards.
Pipe Support Designer, Jan. 2009-Sept. 2009, BECHTEL, Spring City, TN.
As a contract designer, I designed pipe support drawings based on load
calculations and sketch's provided by lead engineers utilizing AutoCAD and
Raster View programs.
Watts-Bar responsibilities included completing support drawings, maintain a
complete data base of supports and components to complete Unit-2 startup.
Structural Designer, Sept. 2008-Jan. 2009, SAIC, Oak Ridge, TN.
As a contract designer I was tasked to work as a liaison designer with
Benham Corp. in Oklahoma for major financial building design (Oklahoma City
Financial Building).
As lead designer on assigned projects. I informed the engineers of the
project drawing status, and initialized immediate customer changes through
RFI's as well as adding input to further the schedule success during
design/construction.
Structural Designer, April 2008-September 2008, MIDREX, Charlotte, NC.
As a contract designer, I designed structural steel frames based on
Architectural sketches
I developed a new informational library for design proficiency with limited
vendor schematics and scope of work that helped in design completion way
ahead of schedule.
Pipe Support Designing Engineer, November 2007-April 2008, LISEGA,
Newport, TN.
Designed 3-D and 2-D pipe supports using Micro Station, AutoCAD 2007,
LICAD, and Solid works for Fossil, Combined Cycle and Nuclear power plants.
Designed pipe routes and pipe supports in 3-D and CFC drawings that were
successfully implemented in order to close out Gateway, and St. Clair power
plant projects I was assigned.
Process Designing Engineer, Jan 2007-Sept 2007, ALSTOM, Knoxville, TN.
I developed, created and maintained 3-D models and working drawings
utilizing AutoCAD, Auto Plant, and Bentley Explorer; while completing a
Safety and Construction course with OSHA. Using ASME B31.1 code
requirements to create P&ID's, valves, flanges, and pipe fittings as
required by customer specifications.
Structural Designer, Aug. 2005-Dec. 2006, SUPERIOR STEEL, Knoxville, TN.
Detailed and designed accurate structural steel frames based on
Architectural drawings utilizing 3-D application software, SDS-2. Made
accurate and timely 3-D/2-D shop, field, and erection designs for the
University of Tennessee stadium, Knox Co. Jail addition, and Oak Ridge High
school remodeling projects.
