GODIVA CHOCOLATIER District Manager

March 2009 thru March 2013

District Manager (03/2009 03/2013) responsible for the supervision of 12 Outlet and Retail stores in

Northern California generating $9 million annual sales volume. Responsibilities include sales, customer

service, operations and merchandise presentation as well as recruiting, training, retention, and, developing

of store personnel. In addition, responsible for administering Store Management performance reviews,

communicating performance standards and executing corporate initiatives. Joined company as District

Manager for the Southern California market in March 2009 generating $10 million annual sales volume.

Accomplishments Include:

• Consistently recognized for outstanding sales performance.

• Recognized for moving the Southern California District from last place in 2008 to the Top District in the

Company in 2009 with a 7.9% comp sales increase, followed by a 10.2% increase in 2010. The highest

volume Boutique in the Company at South Coast Plaza, $2.2 million, and, 4 Boutiques at $1 million plus:

Fashion Valley, Brea, Santa Anita, Glendale Galleria

• Relocated to Northern California in March 2011 to lead the turnaround of the underperforming district.

Successfully finished 2011 with a 10.3% comp store increase, 3rd best in the Company, and, the first Top 5

finish for Northern California since 2005. Third highest volume Boutique in the company at Valley Fair,

$2.1 million, and, 3 Boutiques at $1 million plus: San Francisco Center, Stonestown Galleria, Stoneridge

Center.

• Selected as Interim DM for the bottom performing Dallas, TX District from Q4 2011 to Q1 2012 and

successfully led the market to the #1 performing District in both December 2011 and January 2012.

• Successfully trained, developed, and promoted 2 Store Managers to Training Store Managers for the

West/Midwest Region, and, 1 Store Manager who is now covering the Long

Island/Connecticut District for Godiva.

• Successfully led the turnaround of the Dallas, TX Market in Q4 2011 that was trending negative for comp

sales and led the district to achieve double digit comp sales increase in 10 weeks.

• Received the Inspirational Award in 2011 for successfully turning around both the Northern California

and Dallas Districts.

CRABTREE & EVELYN District Manager

November 2007 thru January 2009

District Manager responsible for the supervision of 14 Retail and Outlet stores in California, Oregon,

Washington, and Hawaii generating $10.7 million annual sales volume. Responsibilities include sales,

customer service, operations and merchandise presentation as well as recruiting, training and developing of

store personnel. Also responsible for administering employee performance reviews, communicating

performance standards and executing corporate initiatives.

Major accomplishment: 2.1% comp store increase in 2008, a challenging retail year for the Company,

which had a decline of 4% overall. One of only two Districts in the Company (out of 11) to achieve a sales

gain over 2007.

District Manager responsible for the supervision of 19 Retail and Outlet stores in California, Oregon, and

Washington generating $18.5 million annual sales volume. Responsibilities include sales, customer service,

operations and merchandise presentation as well as recruiting, training and developing of store personnel.

Also responsible for administering employee performance reviews, communicating performance standards

and executing corporate initiatives.

Major accomplishment: Successfully led comp store sales increases of nearly $3 million over a 5 year period,

including a $1,204,000 comp gain in 2003, a record for the division.

June 1998 thru November 2001

Shoes, Children’s, Home Fashions.

U.S. Shoe Corporation District Manager

January 1991 thru May 1996

District Manager responsible for the supervision of 12 Banister Shoe Outlet stores and 5 Burlington Coat

Factory shoe departments (leased) generating $19.8 million annual sales volume. Responsibilities include

sales, customer service, operations and merchandise presentation as well as recruiting, training and

developing of store personnel. Also responsible for administering employee performance reviews,

communicating performance standards and executing corporate initiatives. Selected as Acting Regional

Manager from April to October in 1995.
