RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

• "Vaccinating American Household Dogs Against Giardia lamblia." This project is a research

proposal made to the Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences at Ohio Northern

University. The project required extensive research in areas of molecular biology and

immunology and was inspired by other work on Giardia vaccinations in humans.

• "Does Heritability Play a Role in Common Male Loon Yodel Development?" This project

encompassed independent research with Dr. John Mager of the Ohio Northern University

Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences. Research focused on the data collected

from thirty father-son pairs of male loons and attempted to find a correlation between genetics

and measurable yodel acoustic characteristics. Referenced works include those by Drs. John

Mager and Charles Walcott, professor of Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University.
