Major Projects- Assistant Construction Manager
. Interim Construction Manager responsible for conducting contractor
selection, spearheading daily schedule meetings concerning turnover vs
schedule, Ensure project coordination between contractor activities
and commissioning activities.
. Assistant Construction Manager Responsible for the completion of
Firebag Stage 3 and 4 Central Facilities.
. Monitored development and reviewed contractor schedules, identified
risks and mitigations and integrated proactive solutions within the
project plan when required.
. Managed MOC process in conjunction with contracts management group,
reviewed and implemented corrective actions based cost and schedule
analysis in regards to contractor change proposals.
. Acted as liaison between C&SU, Construction, QA, Engineering,
Turnover, Materials Management and site contractors to facilitate
completion of FB4 project scope and associated pre-commissioning
activities.
. Project Interface responsible for leading cross functional team and
daily production meetings with C&SU and contractors to review system
completion and site pre-commissioning activities.
. Facilitated the transition from construction to completions at
approximately 70% and provided the remainder of construction
direction based on system priorities through completion of TCCC.
. Monitored and tracked project status. Generate weekly management
project status reports consisting of QA, Engineering, Turnover and
construction completions to senior and executive leadership.
. Successfully completed Stage 3, identified corrective actions and
proactively assisted in implementing them within the Stage 4 project.
. Completed Firebag Stage 4 project scope for Central Facilities, under
budget and ahead of schedule.
