H OBBIES AND INTERESTS
Since the age of 16 music has been my primary interest and motivation. The majority of my time is
spent either with an instrument in my hand or with music projects on the computer. Although I am
primarily a guitarist, I know my way around a keyboard, and dabble with a variety of other
instruments, basically anything that I can get my hands on. As well as production and engineering
work I also compose my own material, in a number of varying styles, and have enjoyed singing as
part of a band.
During my university work placement year I have also found a keen interest in video production.
Unfortunately because of the relative expense of buying video related equipment I have been unable
to do this kind of work outside of my placement to a significant degree. However, I have had the
opportunity to edit footage for a couple of bands’ music videos and am constantly on the lookout for
chances to expand my experience.
On a more eclectic level I also have an interest in complex science, specifically physics based
phenomena, psychology, philosophy and generally the more inexplicable and less well understood
aspects of life.
