Taught English to two groups - One group of supervisors beginners ESL (blue-collar workers).

Used TPR (Total Physical Response) when we started as most of the students did not remember

the little English they learnt. Using Side-by-Side and my personal syllabus, we were able to

progress to a point where they could speak several sentences by the end of a few months. Wrote

tests for the students - written and spoken. Most of the students were able to converse in short

sentences and were able to understand some basic questions. The second group were

intermediate ESL students (white collar office employees). They needed some Business English

and English Conversation and communication skills. Provided for different needs for the

organization including training one-on-one for a Marketing Director using specialized business

language.

2003 through 2009 Xiamn University and TKK College, Zhangzhou, Fujian, China
