Summary:
Highly motivated candidate with 7 plus years of Polymer Engineering experience in different areas for both industrial and research
areas (such as Twin Extruder Polymer Compounding, Creating low dust Super-blend Pellets, synthesis Conductive Polymers,
preparing and processing thermoset resins and thermoplastic polymer nano-composites, membrane and polymer thin films,
characterization and data analysis) and has learned the importance of giving 100% on the job. Having experience with different
processing instruments like twin screw extruder and solvent casting and also polymer tests equipments (mentioned in Work
Experience Section). From the previous work experiences has learned to adapt to different types of working conditions such as 12
hour working or more and also develop around 20 new products running trial s and establish products in commercial lines. Enjoys
being responsible for batch manufacturing and along with the previous experiences; Also enjoys learning new skills when faced with
a new challenge whether working as an individual or as a team. With a strong desire for quality work, high productivity and attention
to detail to work in all areas of engineering related to Polymer Engineering and Polymer Chemistry. Green Card holder and
authorize to work in the U.S on a full -time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Work Experiences:
Since June 2013 – Process Engineer and also EHS Coordinator, Ingenia Polymer Inc. (Houston TX.)
Polymer Compounding (Polyethylene, Polypropylene) using Twin Screw Extruder. And low dust Super-blend Pellet additives.
Maintain strong safety and environmental compliance focus.
Develop recommendations to improve unit performance, developing product process directives.
Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize operating units.
Provide process design support for capital projects.
Contribute in a team environment and establish work relationships with onsite and offsite functional groups to achieve
results.
Balance day-to-day operational priorities with long term strategic objectives to ensure alignment with company goals .
Conducted around 20 successful new product trials in 2013-14. Designed screws and refined to a commercially viable
process using design and analysis of experiment principles. Recorded final process variables in a controlled ISO document .
EHS Coordinator.
Consult with Plant Management on Environmental issues and recommend/implement Environmental studies .
Ensure the safety of all site personnel are maintained at high standards.
Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and Conduct daily Plant inspection to ensure compliance measures are being followed .
Maintain chemical inventory and SDS library for use by employees and annual reporting .
Provide training on Environmental and Safety issues, maintain records, determine and ob tain appropriate materials.
Review site safety documents and ensure that they are complete and follow federal regulations .
Provide Incident investigation assistance for all accidents, and near misses .
Ensure that the incident is appropriately recorded and reported to internal and external entities, all corrective actions are
completed and that the issue doesn't reoccur, Job Safety Analysis exists for all tasks and that it is communicated to all
appropriate staff.
Ensure that all plant inspections, fire extinguisher, fall suppression, ladder, eye wash and emergency lighting, hoist, and
forklift are being performed and any issues are being addressed and corrected .
Ensure that the site has appropriate health monitoring for the exposures that exist on site, this will involve hearing, respi rator,
and chemical exposures.
Conduct plant inspections, and housekeeping events and measures are being performed to help keep th e site in compliance
with legal requirements and corporate standards.
