Position: Shift Engineer of the Utilities and Solvent Recovery areas

(Facilitator).

Roles/Responsabilities: Shift Engineer of both areas (with 8 labor

workers in charge managed with Kronos computer program). The area

consists of the next subareas: Boilers, Air Compressors, Turbogenerators

(using steam for electricity generation), Cooling Towers, Demineralized

Water Units and Solvent Recovery (Acetone Distillation) having start and

shutdown processes (planned and not planned) and its programs under my

control for maintainance and turnaround of equipment (with the creation,

application and management of the Energy Isolation Diagrams required),

analysis and creation of Instruments and Pipes Diagrams (DTI s),

generation of mantainance notifications and purchase of materials (with

SAP program), monthly closure for customers and the own department,

process adjustments to achieve the department KOP s (critical process

variables) and compliance to Environmental Emissions Legislation

Applicable (NOM). Use of computer programs like ASPEN and HTRI for

process modelling and optimization. Use of Six Sigma (Green Belt) as a

process improvement methodology, emergency brigade commander in the Site.

2012)

Roles/Responsabilities: Manifest and documment creation and control of

the monthly binnacle (log) for the integral management of the waste

generated in the Site. Monthly closure of the waste generated by each

area of the Site for report to the U.S. Creation and application of the

annual program of emissions monitoring for water and air. Creation of

monitoring program for soil in case of possible affectation and

remediation. Generation of internal reports and for State and Federal

Authorities like COA (Annual Operation Certificate), EHSA Questionnaire,

etc Generation of materials purchase and request of services with SAP.

Selection and audit to waste management companies. Audits Manager of the

Site for Responsible Care, Clean Industry, SEMARNAT, SEMADES, Corporate,

etc.
