2011 – PROGRAM MANAGER, SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT – contracted to Gulfstream Corporation (GAC) to work
with Gulfstream Supplier base to coach, train in Best Practices, Lean Manufacturing, and AS9100,
AS9102, AS9103 requirements. Work with Program buyers and engineering groups to ensure
product/contract requirements are clearly defined, understood and incorporated in supplier programs to
ensure 100% conformance to customer requirements and deliverables by auditing processes, finding
improvements and aligning customer requirements w/ supplier QMS. Developed Progressive Audit
System – a Systematic approach to Supplier Qualification and continuation for meeting customer
requirements. Developed strategic AS9103 Variation Management training program w/ associated tools
for effective control planning processes for supplier base. Experience with MiniTab Quality Companion 3.

Work Supplier Development initiatives relative to the AIRBUS Quality Management System
Requirements. Ensure supplier quality systems are appropriately aligned with unique Airbus/Spirit
quality system/product requirements to ensure supplier quality systems reduce the potential chance of
non-compliant requirement pass-thru. Effectively develop policy/procedure enhancements to ensure
proper flow-down of specific deliverables to supply base. Cover suppliers producing metallic components
and composite materials. Ensure quality requirements are developed and maintained. Cover suppliers
across US, South Africa, Malaysia and Costa Rica. Process First Article products in accordance with
Airbus, Spirit, and AS9102 requirements. Ensure Process Improvements and applicable AS9103 Key
Characteristic processes are progressive and work to reduce cost, reduce the cost of poor quality and
improve delivery thru-put and tact times. Reason for Renewing search – company policy change effective
10/04/10 disallowing a Work from Home agreement - forcing a 180 mile round trip daily commute when
not in travel status.

Effectively implemented ISO/AS9110 compliant quality management system relative to FAR 135/145
program in < 6 months. Drove culture change to effective RC/CA to reduce customer/regulatory quality
escapes. Developed Audit criteria for Calibration, QMS, ISO/AS inclusive of Software Control and Supplier
Development. Drove Lean Business methodologies to decrease waste in the value stream while
increasing throughput. Provide training criteria and/or presentation of material of all requirements
developed for the QMS. Coached Sr. Management on ISO/AS systems needs, roles and responsibility
processes. Key participant in developing GUI for end-user access to the Document Control System.

Audited to AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, ISO 9001:2000, ASQR-01 and numerous other aircraft engine OEM
and Repair Station requirements, procedures, and specs . Managed 22 Designated Quality Reps at 8
supplier companies to ensure contract requirements were properly flowed and adhered too. Contract
Review and Contract Compliance Training to all suppliers to ensure proper and robust contract review
process. Reduced quality escapes from 70 to 100% across my supplier base. Developed 100% paperless
Field Rep program for the mid Southeast region.
Assisted in developing Relentless Root Cause and effective Corrective Actions to improve Defective Parts
Per Million (DPPM) objectives. Worked with suppliers utilizing Lean Six Sigma Tools & Methodologies to
reduce cost of poor quality & improve processes, inclusive of Preproduction Advanced Planning (PPAP),
Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Gage R&R’s, First Article Inspection validations, etc. Left via Work Force
Reduction.
