PRESENT WORK EXPERIENCE
I am working as a Laboratory Manager and PRO at
Shruti Clinical Laboratory in Juhu and Suburban
Hi Tech Blood Bank, Malad (E) . I am associated with
this organization for the past 3 years. I divide my time
between the two organizations to perform the
following duties :
HR activities :
Managing a staff of eight technicians, four
delivery
boys, two receptionists and two accountants in the
lab .
Supervising training of new recruits
Conflict management within the organization
Business Development :
Meeting with prospective clients ( doctors ) for tie
ups
Promoting corporate health check up packages
Coordinating the activities of marketing
executives
Identifying new business ventures
Financial activities :
Auditing of daily accounts
Monitoring petty cash expenses
Introduced accounting software Tally
Coordinating with CA for audit purposes
PR Activities :
Organizing Blood Donation drives by meeting
college principals, corporates, social event
organizers
Meeting doctors, camp organizers and local
corporators to enforce positive relations
Listening to the grievances of both doctors and
patients and conveying the same to the

to grievance management
Motivation for blood donation by explaining
the benefits of blood donation

Inventory Management :
Checking of physical stock on a weekly basis

of stock items and minimize misuse

avoid stock out situation
Introduced Just In Time method of holding
inventory leading to reduction in storage space,
investment and waste due to expiry
Quality Control :
Introduced pre analytical checks in the work

processes and eliminated redundancies by
eliminating unnecessary and repetitive

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
I worked as a Lab Technician in B.M.C. from 1986 till
2006 after which I opted for VRS .
From 1986 till 1994 I worked at Kasturba Hospital for
Infectious diseases, Chinchpokli .
From 1994 till 2006 I was posted at Bhagwati Hospital
Borivali (W) .
I have worked in all the departments of pathology
Clinical pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology,
Histopathology & Blood Bank
From 1997 onwards, I was given charge of my
Department . Hence apart from my technical duties,
I also took care of administrative duties such as
documentation, inventory control, preparing
emergency duty lists, compiling monthly and
annual reports, and audits .

from National Academy in 2010
