• Designed all facility floor plans for maximum efficiency and patient flow and coordinated remodeling and/or
construction of all facilities; including clinical facilities, corporate office, secure medical records and billing
offices, transportation department with automotive repair and maintenance area, and construction and wood-
working shop with storage warehouse.
• Negotiated all contracts with medical directors, insurance carriers, the State transportation contractor, landlords,
and vendors.
• Developed strategic plan to cut expenses and continue production in spite of an imminent reimbursement cut for
the region and the future implementation of managed care in the region.
• Diplomatic leadership was sought by corporate management when across-the-board downsizing demands were
needed due to government cost containment measures in the region. Developed plan to assess employee value,
skill, and marketability. Personnel were notified of their "retained, risk, or off payroll" status and reduction was
completed within 60 days.

company’s patient base
