Kelly’s main job was working with the members of the association, setting up conferences,
training courses etc. Out of necessity, due to a small staff and staff turnover, she had to take
on additional responsibilities including the day-to-day accounting including paying bills, doing
payroll etc. Kelly basically served as the officer manager responsible for all administrative
functions of the entire state association.
The CPA firm l work for was brought in to replace another CPA firm and rectify some issues Kelly
identified with internal financial reporting. I worked with Kelly a few days each month for almost a year ín order to reconcile bank statements, close out the books for the month and prepare reports for the National Rural Water Association. During this time l worked closely with her and came to respect her work ethic and commitment to the association.
I feel that Kelly would make an excellent addition to any company, but especially one needing expertise in membership or customer relations.
