Work Experience
Store Manager
5/2007 - Present The Home Depot, Annapolis, MD
Responsible for the HR process of the hiring and
termination of employees. Managing an $110,000.000 million
dollar store on a daily basis. Delegating and training of
all the department supervisors and approximately 147
employees. In charge of cleanup and disposal of all Hazmat
materials. Organizing and building the sales of the
contractor pro desk. The training of the inventory
management team (IMA's) on how to keep job lot quantities
on hand at all times. Overseeing all management aspects of
the entire store including employee reviews, safety, hazmat
control, asset protection, loss prevention, shrink, and the
shipping and receiving department.
Branch Manager
6/2004 - 4/2007 Carter Lumber Company, Wellston, OH
Responsible for the training of all new employees and
outside salesperson's. Oversee all aspects of branch
operations to include HR, hiring and training, benefits
package, terminations, reviews, safety requirements (OSHA),
inventory counts and tagging, daily receiving and shipping
of materials for job tickets. Managed 12 staff members, 2
outside salesmen and 1 kitchen designer. Weekly generated
cycle counts to keep inventory control. Self imposed weekly
sales agendas and meetings with all staff. Ordering and
purchasing of all inventory. Total inventory management and
control of daily operations.
Sales Manager and Estimator
1/1998 - 7/2003 Eastcoast trim and siding, Glen Burnie,
Maryland
As a Sales Manager / Estimator, my job duties were to seek
out Custom Home builders, Contractors and Home owners for
acquiring sales. I developed relationships with owners and
major corporate decision makers, which led to major
contracts, including single jobs that grossed over $2
million dollars in sales. This included doing blueprint
takeoffs, bidding and selling the jobs along with ordering
materials, running the labor crews, inventory control and
seeing job through to completion, including billing and
collections. Keeping jobsite safe following OSHA
guidelines. Overall, managing approximately 40 sales and
office employees and 30 laborers. I resigned my position
due to moving to Ohio to take care of a terminally ill
family member and leading to my going back to college.

managing a profitable $10 Million dollar corporation on a
daily basis. Trained and tutored in all aspects of Lumber,
construction and home building. .Salesman of the month for
6 months. .Exceeded all company expectations and received
company recognition and bonuses for abilities, on many
occasions. .Promoted to Outside Sales Co-Manager and then
Store Manager. I was not willing to relocate to Pittsburgh
PA., so I resigned from the company.
