Selected Accomplishments
TURNED AROUND UNPROFITABLE COMPANY. MID ATLANTIC CONTRACTING HAD MAJOR
LOSSES AND WAS IN DIRE STRAITS. IMPROVED FINANCIAL OPERATIONS, IDENTIFIED
DIVERSIFIED CUSTOMER BASE, AND MANAGED PROJECTS. REVIEWED AND PREPARED BIDS
TOTALING $50M, AND WORKED WITH STAFF TO ENSURE PROPER CODING. IMPROVED NET
MARGINS TO 5%.
Beefed up struggling company, preparing it for sale. Requested by
consulting client Board Chairman to turnaround organization and prepare it
for sale. Prepared/implemented marketing campaign to gain new contract
business, negotiated cost reductions, and improved accounting processes.
Reduced annual cost structure $225K and doubled contract revenues $875K,
enabling lucrative sale of company in one year.
Revamped sales, growing revenues. Acterna product partner software
inventory was not moving. Overhauled sales toolkit, presentations and
training. Re-launched product inventory, and worked closely with sales
teams demonstrating products, enabling teams to sell/implement entire $3M
inventory of software licenses.
Enhanced financial stability. Joined NARI Mid Maryland as capital reserves
were shrinking quickly. Aggressively pursued member referrals/non-member
sponsors. Sold two-page ad space in local magazine achieving exposure for
organization/participating members. Gained immeasurable traction, putting
organization on solid path.

DRAFTED/MANAGED BUDGET.
Realtor, Weichert Realtors Property Concepts, 2011 to 2012. Prepared market
analysis statistics and assisted clients determine property value.
Negotiated contracts and educated sellers. Closed $1.5M in transactions.
Chief Financial Officer, Mid Atlantic Contracting, 2007 to 2009. Hired to
turnaround previously unprofitable $10M construction company, leading
company to solid net income in first year. Optimized day-to-day and
financial operations, bidding process, and business development. Managed
$9.5M budget.
Program Manager, AEP Networks, 2005 to 2006. Managed Federal Information
Processing Standards (FIPS) 140 certified portfolio of information
assurance products for division of $20M Government Solutions Group.
