- Responsible for the daily operations of the Production, Maintenance and Quality Assurance departments of a low acid
soup and broth packaging facility. Responsible for the operation of a Combibloc Aseptic box filling line, low acid aseptic
thermal processing and its support equipment.
- The on-site leader during a one-month long FDA audit. The results of this audit identified deficiencies in the recording of
FDA-required critical factors for the processing and filling of low acid aseptic food. Working closely with the equipment
manufacturers, facilitated the installation of monitoring and recording devices necessary to prove commercial sterility. The
result of this work brought the plant into FDA compliance which enabled the current owner to sell to the prospective buyer.

- Identified and engineered modifications to the processor to reduce the time required to achieve sterilization
temperatures.
- Improved CIP cleaning ability by modifying piping and program to provide reverse flow capability.
-Modified piping and program to capture product-to-water and water-to-product interface to increase product yields and
reduce wastewater effluent.
