Presently working as QC ENGINEER PIPING in LARSEN & TOUBRO LTD for

HRS Pipeline Project. (CLIENT- GASCO) - Abudhabi.

Since June 2011 to July 2012.for Qatar Petroleum GSF Project - Mesaeed.

. QC INSPECTOR PIPING - Consolidated contractors company Qatar. from the

period of June 2009 to January 2011. for GAS TO LIQUID Project by Qatar

Shell GTL Limited.

. QC INSPECTOR PIPING AND WELDING - Techsharp engineering PVT LTD Chennai.

CDU expansion project at BPCL - Cochin refinery from August 2006 to May

2009.

Technical qualifications:

. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. From SSM polytechnic college,

Technical Education Department, Kerala. During the period of

2003-2006.

. CSWIP 3.1 CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR.(Certificate Number 61199)

. ASNT Level II in RT,UT,MT,PT (Metal Scan Institute Cochin)

. Diploma in Fire and Safety, From NISM Bangalore.

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Co-coordinating with client side inspectors and the construction

team for execution of Inspection and Quality control activities

in accordance with the approved ITP. Also confirms the compliances

of project specification.

. Ensure that all the activities are carried out in accordance with

specifications, approved Drawings. International codes and

standards.(ASME B 31.3,AWS)

. Handling various welding process like SMAW, SAW, GTAW for qualification

and working purpose.

. Identifying and issuing of Non-conformance Reports/Surveillance reports

as when Non conformity is observed during working. And conducting close

out inspection of NCR

. Prepare Corrective action report if there is any Technical issue or Non-

conformance.

. Conducting dimensional Inspection of fabricated items and weld visual

Inspection.

. Witnessing welding procedure qualification (PQR) and welder

qualification test.

. Preparing and Review of all test reports including NDT, daily welding

reports (DWR).

. Inspect and approve material used in the project in accordance with

engineering specification, also test certificate verification and

following material traceability, and keep all Calibration certificates

of instruments and equipments related to welding.

. Monitoring of Welding consumables storage condition, Preheating,

welding and weld visual inspection, Hardness test, PMI test as per WPS

and ITP.

. Rising of Request for Inspection of the activities according to ITP.

. Checking the Backlogs of NDT and the requisition of NDT according to

the line class.

. Identifying repairs from assessment of visual and NDT reports.

. Monitoring safety of workers and conducting safety toolbox meeting

related to work.

. Ensuring everyone is making use of their PPE correctly and in an

effective manner.

. Carry out Inspection of works after taking relevant Safety Permits from

the client and follow the company HSE policies.

. Witnessing and review of survey documents for underground pipe

leveling.

. Conducting weekly Toolbox talk to the execution team.

. Surveillance inspection on fabrication of structural steel and pipe

spool.

. Co-ordination for the release of inspected material to construction.

. Select welded joint for NDT and prepare pressure test package.

. Line checking and preparing the punch item both pressure and post punch

items for each test packages related to piping and tie-in activities.

. Witnessing hydro test and pneumatic tests.
