Datatec is a Fortune 500 company that's been on the stock market over

5 years based out of New Jersey. As installer for the south-eastern

region duties include cabling and physical router and switch

installation of large enterprise-wide networks (Home Depot/Lowe's/CVS)

testing and installation for LAN/WAN switches, routers, patch panels

for Cat5e(UTP), 25pair, fiber optic, and Co-ax within seven South

Eastern States. Cat-X (UTP) terminations: 110 and 66, Fiber Optic

terminations polished and clamps. Day-to-day support operations

including; switch port activations, IP address assignments; cable walk

through; physical switch installation; Configure and fabricating

components in wiring closets and phone systems upon client

specifications. Trouble-shooting and configuring new hardware with

existing hardware for enterprise-wide networking environments.

Administrate SCO UNIX and Novell NetWare 3x/4x/5x using TCP/IP,

IPX/SPX, serial direct under a fiber-optic backbone based Ethernet

structure.
