Highlights

I have spent most of my management career with one company where I wore

many hats for 25 years, along with experiencing most aspects of management

and leadership. I am looking for an opportunity to share my experience in

a dynamic work environment.

TSS Financial - Operations Manager - 1985 - 2011

Our company provided capital equipment leasing services to small and large

companies, with our main focus in high-tech and bio-tech applications. Our

deals ranged from several hundred thousand dollars to several hundred

million dollars, including international financing in France, Hong Kong,

Switzerland, Germany and the UK.

. Key roles in building a capital equipment leasing company to $70 million

annually with nine employees, international funding sources, and multiple

Fortune 500 clients.

. Responsible for all aspects of leasing: negotiating documents with

attorneys, training staff on documentation, collection of all data and

detail for transactions.

. Coordinating all documentation, planned and tracked all funding source

transactions.

. Supervised accounting and CPA functions: payroll, A/R, A/P functions,

along with preparing monthly budgets and State and Federal filings.

. Facilities manager for three complete office relocations and a major

office expansion.

. Responsible for hiring and training of administrative and accounting

employees.

. Supported Sales and Syndication Staff in presentations for lessees and

funding sources including preparation of PowerPoint presentations and

marketing materials.

. Main point of contact from lease signing through completion and funding.

. During 2010 I became an equity partner and remained with the company

working with the other owner on wrapping up deals and winding-down

operations until early 2011.

Coretech Leasing - Operations Manager - 2011 - 2012

I was brought into Coretech, by a former colleague to assist in the

relocation of their offices, transitioning of ownership, setting up new

systems, and as a potential replacement for the Northern California

Manager, who had threatened to leave if they relocated. In the end the

manager stayed and my role became limited to the transition.

Startup Veterans America (SVA) - Program Director - 2012 - 2013

SVA was launched in 2012, as a new branch of Youth Business America (YBA),

an Oakland based micro-lender. SVA was designed to provide funding for

military veterans starting new businesses in Northern California. I was

hired based on my years of financial and organizational experience, and to

join my former employer from TSS Financial along with key leaders from

Sybase and Commerce One.

I worked on developing the veterans' program and seeking funding. We were

successful in attracting funding and demonstrating a need for the veterans'

program, but the parent organization, YBA, was not successful in renewing

its funding sources.

. Special Olympics of Northern California - Volunteer - I have been a very

active volunteer with SONC. In 2007 my husband and I were awarded the

Volunteer Couple of the Year and I was named Volunteer of the Year in

2009. I have been substantially involved with fundraising and have

enjoyed helping with athletic competitions.

. Sailing & Golfing - I enjoy sailing in the Bay and Delta and golfing

vacations.
