Title : Vectorization of manually drafted mechanical drawings

Client : QASCO (Qatar Steel Company)- A Govt. of Qatar Enterprises.

Role : QA, QC & Detailing and Drafting.

Description:

The goal of the project is to convert the manually drafted mechanical drawing into

vectorized format. This includes conversion, correction, rectification of the as-built

drawing if the company. The drawing mostly consists of machine components like gear

boxes, shafts, realized etc, apart from the assembly drawing, which are kept with the

maintenance dept of the company for regular maintenance and repairs apart from

machine components. We also deal with structural, electrical, civil drawing of the

company in little number. As the parts are basically given for the manufacturing the

accuracy and necessary correction are done on the drawing with prior conformation

from the company engineers. The output of the project is accurately drafted mechanical

drawing in AutoCAD-2000 format.

September 2001 to 30th April 2003).

Project 7:

Title : Mechanical drawings.

Client : LBN Company, Germany

Role : QA, QC & Detailing and Drafting.

Description :

The project of mechanical drawings involved development of solid model

and making detailed drawings of all different designs such as bearing housing, gear box

details, platforms etc. In these drawings we have to maintain German layers and stds.

All the text in these drawings is in German language. For this the input was images of

manually drawn component drawings supplied by our client.

Project 8:

Title : Architectural and mechanical drawings.

Client : JDS Company, Germany

Role : QA, QC & Detailing and Drafting.

Description:

In this project we have to convert the manually drafted architectural and

mechanical drawings into vectorized format. In these drawings we have to maintain

German layers and stds. All the text in these drawings is in German language.
