RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:-

1. Obtain the permit to work.

2. Carryout Isolation / Blinding of Pipelines.

3. Shift the material, equipment to work site.

4. Mark the location for cutting of the line after exposing the

insulation

5. Carry out lamination check by UT.

6. Ensure the dimension of the pre-fabricated spool matching with the

marked portion of the existing spool prior to cutting.

7. Carry out cutting by using cutting suitable disc for demolition of the

corroded section of pipe. (Ensure that the pipe section is secured

properly so that the pipe does not move while cutting). Secure the

demolished pipe section with chain block and carefully drop the cut

section.

8. Carry out the beveling for welding..

9. Proceed for welding using approved WPS and Welder.

10. Checking Fittings, Welding all the pipe spools .

11. Carry out hydro test as per AFC drawing.

12. Carryout touch up painting.

13. Perform Insulation / Re-insulation of the exposed areas of pipes.

14. Prepare for hydro test for each section as per the respective P & ID.

15. Carry out Pressure test (bar) as per AFC drawing for Pipe.
