for more than two decades. The Group has made foray into renewable energy
generation by setting up a Biomass based Power Plant. The part of power
generated is used for Foundry Plant. This power projects is amongst the
first one of its kind to get registered as Clean Development Mechanism
(CDM) Project under Kyoto protocol. This Project is aimed to reduce green
house gases causing climate change and shall receive carbon credits as a
CDM Project.
The Group is one of the largest Foundry unit, manufacturers of Ductile
Iron, Cast Iron, Steel and Alloy Steel Castings to the tune of 25,000 TPA.
The castings are machined in the latest CNC based machine shop for
delivering tailor made. Wide range of parts suitable to almost every
conceivable engineering application like Automobile, Railways, Shipping,
Water Works & General Engineering.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-
> Overall in charge of Purchase & Stores department.
> Member of CFT for Feasibility study for cost reduction.
> To plan, schedule and executive all the day to day work.
> To guide, instruct and effectively supervise the work of all Purchase
and Stores Department.
> To maintain and improve Vendors and achieve the targets.
> To improve quality and quantity work of company work.
> To take preventive and corrective steps in order to avoid stoppage of
production due to short of material.
> To ensure and maintain raw materials and spares and other consumables
according to the production needs in consultation with Accounts and
Production Department.
> To recruit and appoint competent persons against sanctioned vacant
posts in respective department.
> To reduce cost of Purchase and bring it down below the average
purchase cost of the industry.
> To protect and promote the name and interest of the company and its
products.
