-Applied coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and lacquer and protect interior surfaces,

trimmings and fixtures of building.

-Smoothed surfaces with sandpaper, brushes, and steel wool.

-Remove old paint from surfaces, using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, and blowtorch to

prepare surfaces for painting.

-Filled nail holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, and other filler, using caulking gun

and putty knife.

-Selected premixed paints and mixed required portions of pigments, oil and thinning and drying

substances to prepare paint that matched specified colors.

-Removed fixtures such as pictures and electric switch covers from walls prior to painting.

-Spread drop cloths over floors and room furnishings and covered baseboards, door frames and

windows with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.

-Painted surfaces with brushes, spray gun, and paint rollers.

-Erected scaffolding or ladders to perform tasks above ground level.

-Perform basic duties in all related building trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
