PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
City of Round Rock June 2003 to 2012
Police Officer –Started out of rotating 12 hour shifts on patrol. Conducting traffic Stops, Criminal interdiction
stops, making arrests for assault offenses, Drug possession offenses, as well as all other aspects of a patrol
officer. I then transferred to the school resource unit and was assigned to the Chisholm Trail Middle School and
became an instructor on different juvenile programs such as DARE, as well as being a mentor for under
privileged students.
Police officer- I currently hold a Texas Intermediate Peace Officer License.
Dare Instructor/School Resource Officer- I am a certified DARE instructor and a certified School Resource officer
through NASRO. I instructed the DARE program to multiple elementary schools in the Round Rock ISD. I was also
an assistant coach for the Chisholm Trail Middle school Football team which was the school I was assigned.
Crime Scene investigator- was a member of the Departments Crime scene division I have advanced training in
Crime scene investigation, and have processed many different kinds of crime scenes. I was on call and processed
crime scenes on my own. Including an officer involved shooting.
Explorer advisor- I was an advisor and trainer for the departments Police Explorer program I created trainings
and supervised potential police officers. I trained the Explorers and prepared them for competitions where they
won multiple awards and trophys. I also helped develop the Round Rock Police Explorers standard uniforms.
Emergency response team- I was a member of the departments emergency response team, I was a driver and
operator of specialized emergency equipment assigned to the team. I obtained a Texas Class A commercial drivers
license to operate the custom made Truck and Trailer the department was assigned. I was also in charge of the set
up of the equipment inside of the trailer which included a mobile hospital, a mobile jail, mobile command center,
four wheeled ATV’s, and many other pieces of equipment that were deployed to different emergency situations all
over the state.
Bastrop Sheriff’s Department 2001-2003
Jailer/US Marshal transport officer- I worked in the jail and promoted to booking officer, then promoted to
transport officer all within my first year.
Jailer- I currently hold a Texas Jailers License.
I was promoted to booking within two months of employment.
I was then promoted to transportation officer within 7 months of employment. I transported Federal, State, and
County inmates to different institutions throughout the country.
