EXPERIENCE

Lincoln College of Technology March 2008 – October 2011 Grand Prairie, TX

Education Coordinator: June 2009 – October 2011

Admissions Coordinator: March 2008 – June 2009

As an Education Coordinator, I researched the students that qualified for re-enrollment into the school through computer usage and statistics. Created a spreadsheet to decide who the best candidates to return were and presented it to the Academic Dean. It was approved and we used that document to have the candidate’s plea their story to the Re-Enter Committee. Then, I developed an action assistance plan for each student based on their demographic need to return to be efficacious to graduate from their program. I constructed a training class for our students to attend before they were to start our programs to ensure successful completion to graduate. The student and I would compare the document while setting a goal for graduating. I would block Managements’ calendars to be present for scheduled meetings. Finally, accomplished to re-enter 82% of the students that I spoke with to return to school and increased our student population by 15% using budget presentation. I managed reports and presented the findings to the Executive Director and Academic Dean on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. I won the Student Advocate Award in 2010.

As an Admissions Coordinator, provided support for 16 Representatives by communication, training and product knowledge. Then, I coordinated enrollments, appointments and admissions tracking for each Representative. I handled giving tours of the facility to any visitors while explaining the enrollment process. Also, communicated with Financial Aid, Education and Business Office for all student concerns. Manage daily reports and address findings to Director of Admissions. Finally, ensure all admissions activity is documented in the Campus Vue operating system and report to each Representative.

Walgreens Company October 2002 – November 2007 Irving, TX

Executive Assistant Manager: March 2004 – November 2007

Assistant Manager: October 2002 – March 2004

My management achievements partly include invoicing, comparative volume and sales analysis. My invoicing responsibilities proved an important element in that it gave me the opportunity to provide detailed accountability for incoming merchandise from a multitude of vendors. I used this information to contrast a comparative volume report against sales volumes versus recent sales as well as those one-year prior to date. These combined efforts assisted me in developing my store to maintain cost usefulness and profitability above the standard dictated. I was responsible for payroll, hiring and store budgets along with ordering the correct merchandise. Due to the multitude of responsibilities I managed, I fine-tuned my time management skills, orientation to detail and my ability to increase employee satisfaction through corporate training procedures.
