Project Manager for AZIA Centre in Pudong, Shanghai: A state of Art, 33-storey high office tower with 3 levels of

basement carpark, developed by GIC and designed by KPF.

Together with Meinhardt/MEP, ALT/curtain wall, etc. acting as leading CA/Contract Administrator of the Project, to

ensure Takenaka/ Managing Contractor’s works comply with original design intent. Main disciplines include curtain

wall (Permasteelisa), major interior finishes (GF lobby and typical lift lobbies) as well as signage, landscape, special

lighting, etc. also emphasize on stones, cast glass, hardware, etc.

Daily work includes shop drawing review, factory visit, material approval, site work/QC inspection, rectification and

final inspection, approval of VO, issue Practical Completion Certificate, etc.

The project was successfully completed within 30 months and became the most prestigious and outstanding office

building in Lujiazui District, Pudong.

• Complete involved in all stages consist of piling, excavation, basement construction, superstructure, curtain wall,

glass structure (skylites), interior finishes (office and hotel), landscape, steel crown roof (600 tons) and final

inspection.

• Coordinate with JPA/ Architect, Meinhardt Façade, ASI, HBA, LDI/SIDAR, etc. for all design issues. Provide

sketches and details of actual site condition to make sure the original design works.

• Review construction methods and shop drawings; supervise site QC done by General Contractors/ Samsung, etc,

Supervise all inspections done by local Inspectors and Site Engineers, make sure all defects rectified and satisfy

with QC requirements.

standard forms, etc. for forming, steel work, concrete, grouting, welding, etc.

• Under the supervision of Turner Consultants (USA), inspect subcontractor’s works and rectify noncompliance items

until satisfied by Turner’s engineers.

• Develop strategies for 8000psi High Performance Concrete/ HPC (25cm slump) and 6000psi non-shrinkage

concrete mix design. Perform the mix design research and trial batch es, plan and execute more than 10 mock ups

with different pumping length and height; adjust mix design until satisfied by all parties and ready for steel column

pumping (up to 62nd floor).

• Take care monthly payment application and Final Payment preparation.
