Responsibilities Included:
. Quality Control Department's overall direction.
. Directly involved in the receipt, installation, start-up, testing and
balancing along with commissioning of HVAC mechanical systems.
. Establishing, maintaining and updating the database relative to the
Three-Phase Inspection Process, Daily Reports, Discrepancy Reports,
Submittal Register Management, and monthly reports.
. Review all potential Discrepancy Reports, determine disposition, track
and verify that the issues have been fully corrected prior to closure.
. Direct the removal and replacement of non-conforming work and to stop
work that is not in compliance with the contract.
. Facilitating Preparatory Meetings, participate in Initial Inspections,
Follow-Up and Final Inspections.
. Ensure delivery of material and construction of work does not commence
until the Designer of Record has approved all associated submittals.
. Participate in the selection process for outside testing contractors
and verify adherence to testing standards, frequency, and
documentation.
. Perform material inspection to verify that the products are in
accordance with specifications, storage requirements, visual weld
inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1 and AWS D9.1, staging, and
material handling methods are implemented without compromising project
quality. Submit Request for Information (RFI) as required and review
answered RFI's to assure changes are implemented in the field.
. Actively participate in the Work Completion Tagging Process, In-House
Punch-List Process, and the Pre-Final Work List process to document
deficient items in the field.
