Description: - The project offers engineering services support to Cummins

Filtration Engineering Centers for creating mark-ups, drafting and

detailing, modeling components and assembly based on the inputs and

instruction from Cummins Filtration using Pro-E 4.0. To support the design

activity for different program to clients. The scope of the work involves

mainly supporting drafting activity & changing request.

Contribution: As a Team member and Checker, involved in,

. Conduct training to new joiner.

. Got 2 times Star of the Months in the month of August-11 and June-

12.

. Mapping and implementing the client's requirements as per their

quality standards.

. Quality check of completed works submitted by the team and

reviewing the design.

. Client interaction, support to the team.

. Preparing project documents. Prepare project schedule, project

review meeting & project delivery in time.

Project: Paint Packaging & Silkscreen Change support for Cummins

Filtration Technologies

Client: Cummins Inc, USA

Job Description:

Execution of Engineering Change Requests (ECR's) & PPSC Requests.

> Complete execution of Engineering Change Requests (ECR's) for packaging

of Air Filtration products:

< Implementation of Packaging changes for Air filtration products as per

the plant requirements.

< Solve different customer complaints and product damage as well as

packaging damage cases for intra company and external customers by

coordinating between plant engineers and packaging material suppliers,

accordingly support development of new packaging materials and get them

validated from plants/customers before the change request is released.

< Ensure to setup packaging configuration as per international and/or

customer standards for respective order quantities for simple products.

Confirm each packaging setup for feasibility and suitability.

< Obtain necessary confirmations over decisions taken and changes made as

and when required.

Complete execution of PPSC Requests for Branding and Packaging of Liquid

Filtration products:

< Implementation of Packaging /Branding changes for Liquid filtration

products. Branding of various Cummins products as per Customer and

Cummins standards.

< Development of new Carton and product Labels, Silk-screens and printing

plates as per customer requirements and standards by interacting with

Carton/ Label suppliers and get approvals over the changes and new

developments from customers.

< Define and identify the necessity for new development of

packaging/branding materials and confirm them with the reference database

present.

< Interaction with plant for cross-functional departmental approvals.

< Execute necessary documentations and obtain customer approvals, customer

confirmations and PPAP approvals by formal interaction/communication with

customer before the request is completed.

Also setup parts/products ready for shipment into the system to make them

available in different Global Sales Order Management Systems (SOMS)
