WARID Telecom UGANDA (BARCO Video Wall):

Executed the project as team lead, to install & configure 2*1 BARCO Video Wall for Warid Telecom

Uganda. Which is used by the 24/7 NOC team and integration with their GSM, NERA, EDN, DCN,

Network and provided operations & maintenance support for two years.

WARID Telecom UGANDA (POLYCOM Video Conferencing):

Executed the project as team lead, to Install & configure VSX 7000 Video Conferencing solution &

integrated with VTX 1000 sound station so that meetings can take place with the rest of group offices

WATEEN Telecom (EDN/DCN):

Complete core network design of EDN, including planning of LAN/WAN IP addressing schemes,

routers/switches/firewalls/Wireless AP’s authentication & authorization, VLAN’s planning,

EtherChannels, VTP & STP implementation and complete integration with Hosted Datacenter &

WARID Telecom RAN-O:

Worked as a team lead during installation & configuration. The Cisco RAN-Optimization solution is

designed to optimize the link between an operators BSC and BTS nodes. Cisco MWR Router

Converts the traffic between the two elements to an IP based flow & efficient link utilization.

ERICSSON Pakistan (PVT) Ltd:

Short rollout contract role, Configuring Juniper Routers, Switches, VPN Concentrators and PIX

Firewalls, Interconnecting various client sites through VPNs, AAA configuration & Integration,

Configured Failover and tests.

Wise Communication (GT Calling Card):

Support, maintenance, upgrades, new installations and troubleshooting on the core networks

PERN (Pakistan Education & Research Network):

Long term hands-on study-related project at the PERN, Sub-netting and IP addressing, configuring

Cisco Routers, Switches, PIX Firewalls for dozens of colleges/universities in Lahore Pakistan, Goal

was to provide all institutes with internet access and to build up a centralized management for all

networking components involved.

WARID Telecom Wireless LAN:

Implemented a large wireless network using access points “Cisco 1130AG”, WLCs, ACS and WCS to

administer wireless devices securely with protocols such as EAP TLS, WPA TKIP.

WATEEN Telecom (WiMax):

Worked as Team Member to complete the installation of first ever WiMax project all over Pakistan.

My responsibility was to Install the core with level two configuration support and complete

installation & configuration of city POP & Metro sites. Cisco includes GSR, 76xx, 72XX, Catalyst

37XX, Catalyst 65XX, ASA 5400, AS 5350, and IPS 4200.

MOBILINK An Orascom Telecom Company “BARCO Video Wall” (ISLAMABAD & LAHORE):

Installed & Configured 6*2 Control room screens in Islamabad & Lahore offices. Executed the

project as team lead to fulfill the needs of Mobilink 24/7 Network Operations team, of a control room

where they can monitor & control the entire GSM network across Pakistan.

WARID Telecom “BARCO Video Wall” (Lahore):

Working as a team lead on 7*2, with 5 curve Control room screen. The purpose of this control room

is to provide a facility to WARID 24/7 Network Operations team to monitor their GSM Network for

alarm monitoring and troubleshooting across Pakistan.

WATEEN Telecom “BARCO Video Wall”:

Installed and configured 2*1 control room screen for WATEEN Telecom Call Center. It’s a

multipurpose screen for the call center agents & Alarm monitoring for the Pakistan’s first WiMax

Network.

WATEEN Telecom (POLYCOM Video Conferencing):

Designed & Implemented the Video Conferencing Solution for WATEEN Telecom offices across

Pakistan. Solution included Polycom MGC +50, VSX 7000s,8000 VC system, Sound Stations, VTX,

PVX VC software, VSX People+Content for presentation sharing, Connectivity of offices included

through IP & ISDN network and later on provided Operations & Maintenance services.

BANK Alfalah Ltd (POLYCOM Video Conferencing):

Performed site survey, Designed & Implemented the VC solution for Bank Alfalah Lahore & Kara chi

offices on WiMax network. Installed & Configured Polycom VSX 7000s and 8000 system including

VTX & People+Content Software, Later on provided the hands on training to customer staff &

provided on call support.

MCB (POLYCOM Video Conferencing):

Designed & Implemented the VC solution for MCB bank Lahore, Installed & configured Polycom

VSX 8000 system, Sound Station, VTX and configured PVX software for PC video conferencing for

higher management so that they can participate in meetings from anywhere. Inte grated the VC system

with Cisco Call Manager so that Audio conferences can be initiated anywhere on the network.

Azgurad9 (TANDBERG VC ):

Installed & configured video conferencing using Tandberg codec. Personally designed & executed the

solution including the training of staff & provided on call support.

NUST (POLYCOM VC):

Worked as team lead to build Virtual Class Rooms by using Polycom Video Conferencing equipment

in the Nation Wide Campuses. This facility allows professors to deliver lectures & take cl asses from

anywhere in Pakistan.
