Alton Smoak has over 15 years in the power industry as a site manager and technical adviser/field engineer for OEM and power service companies, working worldwide. The majority of this work has been in execution of projects, providing feedback to engineering and management teams, targeting improved future outage execution. • Job tasks included bidding & preparing schedules for outages, developing change orders for extra work, BOP and modifications. • Steam turbine shift lead for major inspections on large utility turbine.

• Job Tasks included overseeing and directing all dis-assembly and reassembly. Overseeing all heavy lifts. Overseeing and directing all measurements and alignments on gas turbines, steam turbines and generators. • General Foreman on ALSTOM Gas Turbines GT24 new construction set-up and installation of major components on turbines resolving generator trouble-shooting start up issues.

• General Foreman over mechanical installation on new construction for cement plant raw mill to finish mill operations. Oversaw the installation and alignment of ID fans, conveyers, bucket elevators, structural fabrication and holding bins.
