Managed 9 warehouses and a staff of 49 in the western U.S. Led materials inventory control effort for
nation. Invoice auditor and billing programmer for start-up branch within division.
• Developed automated spreadsheet invoicing system for start-up division to analyze shipping reports and
prepare invoice based on multiple variables, which would then link in to P&L reports for cost analysis.
• Devised automated spreadsheet auditing system to analyze and evaluate vendor invoices, leading to the
recovery of up to ten thousand dollars per month in overcharges at the start of the program.
• Originated and implemented weekly inventory control program to track materials nationwide, reducing
waste/shipping costs to zero, maximizing storage while maintaining annual data for trends and forecasting.
• Implemented a "cubing-out" policy to maximize warehouse space by installing vertical rack extensions and
avoiding the necessity of a $45,000 warehouse relocation.
