PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
A.D Distribution 2000 to 2012
Warehouse/Logistics Manager
Supervise employees in a cross dock, assembly, pick and pack operations in
a 3PL distribution center. Establish day to day operational guidelines
within company policies for improved daily efficiencies while maintaining
KPI and safety standards. Set and implemented work plans in accordance to
forecasts. Responsible for employee training for increased order
fulfillment performance output in preparation for LTL, T/L shipments to
Mass-Merchandisers (Costco. J.C Penny's.) and retail stores complying with
customer protocols, established a safety committee, Inventory cycle counts
program. Fostered good customer relations with retail outlets to uphold the
company's image and credibility. Established a team environment for
increased morale. Budgetary responsibilities negotiated new carrier
contracts. My work ethic and strong sense of corporate responsibility

Transportation Manager
Supervise and established day to day operational transportation needs in
coordinating with MFG by overseeing the scheduling of inbound and outbound
trucks meeting with carriers and Reps to meet customers needs and
requirements. Implemented a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and through
the use of an Oracle TMS system I managed all inbound and outbound
distribution of approximately 10,000 orders monthly. Corporate
responsibility to MASCO Transportation Committee (the parent company) help
select and negotiated traffic and logistics contracts for improved yearly
rates. Oversaw all 3PL operations in addition to managing off site
warehouses. Brought corporate recognition to our team for surpassing
company goals and setting shipping records.
