Handle all medical records requests from other health care facility, lawyer
subpoenas and other legal matters and following all HIPPA rules.
Handle all physicians requests from 5 providers including and not limited to
dictations, patient labs, reports and prescription request.
Prepare charts for monthly audit 3 charts per provider, meeting all
requirements to make chart eligible for review.
Cover for greeter answering multiple phone lines and directing them to the
appropriate department.
Schedule appointments, verify basic information by phone, using Health
Port and Next Gen, register new patients, run insurance verification, take
payments from patients, place patients on appropriate programs to help
their needs.
Open and distribute mail throughout the clinic including dental department
upstairs, pharmacy, lab, x-ray all doctors and supervisors on a daily basis.
Read and document all patients returning to have their PPD placement
read.
On occasion cover as an MA for the back office staff.
