PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

Cluster at Uppada Weaving Society, Uppada, Andhra Pradesh (May'09 -

June'09)

. The project specs included development of contemporary designs, and

also making the weavers aware of the numerous possibilities that can

be woven as motifs on the hand/pit looms.

. Supervision and learning of the weaving challenges, technicalities

during the making of sari, dress material, Madras Handkerchief in

order to achieve the desired results

Gaurav International Limited, Gurgaon (Summer Internship) May'10 - July'10

. The project involved working in sync with the design team and

assisting in the various stages of merchandise plan, sampling and

production.

. Responsibilities included: Trend research based on client brief, mock

sample development, washes (hydro, detergent, hcl, enzyme, stone,

acid) dyeing techniques (direct, pigment, disperse, tie& dye, Ombrey

technique) finishing and packaging

a. Range For TARGET CORPORATION (American retailing company): Developed a

cost effective casual and evening range for Target Corporation which

included 16 samples, of which 10 were selected.

b. Wal- Mart: Designed and developed embroidery headers for kids wear and

women's wear.

c. ESPRIT (EDC): Designed multiple options for the season spring

-summer'11

d. ANN TAYLOR : Doodling and finally developing a range of casual women's

wear

a medley of vibrant colours, contrasting but complementing textures and

pleasing forms.

This collection is dedicated to all the women out there, who work hard

to make dreams come true, as a daughter, a wife, a mother, a boss, a

friend..

Collection 3: L'Affaire Ethnique

L'Affaire Ethnique(The Ethnic Affair), as this collection is named; is a

culmination of themes, a coming-together of styles from countries all over

the world ranging from Africa, Greece, France, Spain, Japan and of course

Indian!

Collection 4: A Kaleidoscopic view

Put your groove on with a wide range of cool patterns and style. The

collection covers all age groups. The silhouettes and patterns are designed

exclusively for different age groups. It covers your every wardrobe needs.

Be it a casual wear, jumpsuit, beach wear or a party/cocktail dress. So put

on a new pattern everyday and just "let it go"
