Web Support Specialist / Web Projects

Daily maintenance of University inter- and intranet

sites for access by all campus units, including

site updates, Intranet Portal updates, and

interactive components and some media assets.

Implemented Google Analytics Tracking code

throughout multiple sites. Generation and analysis

of reports through Google Analytics.

Programs and acts as technical specialist for

campus-purchased Google Search Appliance. Acted as

Co-project Manager for upgrade, install and rollout

of new Google Search Appliance.

Acts as technical point of presence for network

(wired and wireless) connectivity. Acts as

technical point of presence for departmental

telephony and videoconferencing (IP and ISDN) for

mission-critical meetings & educational programs

etc.) to ensure projects are on-target and

University-wide projects.

Negotiates system repairs with vendors and insures

working communication links.

Inspects & ensures proper operation of teaching &

research equipment. Assures UMDNJ standards are

met. Instructs faculty, staff & students in proper

equipment use. Develops novel

educational/informational multimedia presentations

and CD-ROMs.
