Program and Project Manager with over 30 years of experience in construction and environmental remediation. I have managed government and private sector projects with contract values ranging from $12,000 to $120 million, located in the U.S., Liberia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. • Design and construct a soil washing system for the removal of 5 million pounds of lead shot from 145,000 cubic yards of organic material;
• Construction of remediation berm in a wetlands;

Remediation of Manufactured Gas Plant Site and Construction of Stormwater Retention Pond; Contract Value: $12 Million; Contracting Entity: City of Tallahassee. Construction overview includes:
• Excavation and disposal of 80,000 tons of contaminated soil to bedrock;
• Designing, permitting, installing, and maintaining water treatment plant for dewatering and managing stormwater;
• Designing, preparing foundation for, and installing 400 linear feet of large precast box culverts through existing landfill;
• Designing and installing cast-in-place entry and turn section comprised of a toe wall, apron slab, retaining wall, and elevated slab over turn section;
• Form work for tie-in of precast structures to existing drainage structures under state road;

SHAW ENVIRONMENTAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE, INC., Project Manager, Alpharetta, Georgia, June 1991 to June 2005. Examples of projects managed provided below:
Reconstruction of Former Iraq Military Base; Contract Value: $120 Million; Contracting Entity: Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE), Division of USAF. Construction overview includes:
• Refurbishing over 230 precast buildings and 11 battalion-size campuses, including barracks, offices, and recreation and training facilities (over 240,000 square meters floor area);
• Design and construction of 3 rifle ranges (112,000 cubic meters of soil);
• Design and construction of waste water treatment system with concrete tanks and foundations (12,000 person capacity);
• Design and construction of potable water treatment system (12,000 person capacity), including steel erection of large above ground storage tanks;
• Design and construction of electrical system;
• Design and construction of training barracks, warehouses, and 3 dining facilities, including preparation of foundations and concrete slabs for erection and construction of steel buildings;
• Reconstruction of base security fencing; and
• Design and construction of 60 meter x 40 meter ammunition storage facility with 36 internal concrete support columns for elevated concrete slab (roof).
Department of Defense Specialty Projects; Contract Value: $1.2 Million; Contracting Entity: DOD-Fort Benning. Construction overview includes:
• Procurement of contractor to duplicate statue of “Iron Mike” from steel and concrete to bronze;
• Procurement of contractor and oversight provision for dredging of “Rangers Pond,” and erosion and sediment control;
• Providing specifications and procurement of subcontractor for installation of electrical meter stations on all structures at Camp Frank D. Meril; and
• Installation of new boilers in hangers on military base.
