Quantitative uv spectrophotometric estimation of sildenafil citrate in bulk and its formulation by

hydrotropy technique

Synopsis:

No uv spectrophotometric method was available using 2.0m sodium benzoate solution

as a hydrotropic agent. So we develop method for sildenafil citrate tablets. It involves

preparation of dilutions for sidenafil citrate using sodium benzoate as solvent and

observing absorbance for those dilutions.

conclusion: The developed method was free from interference by common additives

and excipients.so can be used in quality control tests in industries.

In this project I was prepared dilutions for sildenafil citrate tablets.
