manner.
Selected Accomplishments:
Achieved unit recognition for the most flight hours achieved with multiple unmanned platforms in flight
operations during National Training Center rotation 07 -12 at Fort Irwin, CA.
Successfully integrated RQ-7B Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System into Joint Operations Center
tracking systems for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and
reconnaissance operations during “Soaring Angel 2012,” at Fort Hunter Li ggett, CA.
Experienced zero ground and aviation related accidents during current rating periods.
Challenge: Assist Unit Officer-In-Charge in developing unit Aircrew Flight Training Program, approval policies and
procedures.
Action: Developed Aircrew Flight Training Period approval process flowchart which provided all unit personnel the
proper procedures to request Aircrew Flight Training Period scheduling, support and report training plans in a timely
manner.
Result: Unit personnel receiving the logistical support required upon arrival for training. This included the review and
refinement of training proposals to establish training objectives, and enhancing unit readiness in relation to
organizational goals.
AVIATION SAFETY OFFICER
JANUARY 2010 – PRESENT Los Alamitos JFTB, CA
Supervise, train, advise, inspect, and maintain responsibility for the safety, health, and welfare of 20 Officers, 22
Non-Commissioned Officers and 54 enlisted Soldiers; ensure that all personnel observe all safety programs and
report violations of Occupational Safety & Health Administration, National Fire Protection Association Codes, military
and Federal regulations; report and document safety hazards onto unit Hazard Logs for recording, and ensure
personnel update Material Safety Data Sheets as required.
Selected Accomplishments:
Managed Risk Mitigation programs in combat aviation operations during deployment to Iraq resulting in
zero fatalities 2010-2011.
