cabinets. I was responsible for the main assembly of the kitchen cabinets.

Responsible for improving the one piece flow of the assembly line. Key

. Improved the rework by 5% by improving in coming quality of

components.

Production Manager, Merfin Systems, King, N.C. November 2010 - February

2012 Laid off: Company was purchased - Top Managers Laid off including

Merfin is a converter of tissue and towel products. Merfin Systems is a 3

shift 5 days a week operation. I was responsible for the daily operation

of the production floor. I was responsible for 4 supervisors, 31

operators, quality coordinator and scheduler. Responsible for dealing with

personnel issues relating to quality, safety and attendance. Key

Accomplishments:

. Decreased the overall converting waste by 6% a savings of

$60,000 a month.

. Made modifications to several products that allowed greater

flexibility and decreased the cost of the product.

. Worked closely with the scheduler to decrease inventory levels

and increase on-time and complete rate from 85% to 93% with a

Goodyear manufactures commercial truck and aircraft tires. My

responsibility was in the tire building department. I was responsible for

improving manufacturing processes, overseeing of capital projects and

the project from conception to installation. I met with customers to

understand exactly what specifications were involved for proper

that the customer's specifications were being met in the conceptual

development phase. From the conceptual designs a quote proposal was

developed. Upon acceptance of the job, managed all aspects of the

project to ensure that budget and time constrains were met.

Smart Machines designs builds and installs custom manufacturing

specifications for the equipment. Responsible for the designing,
