Description : A mutual fund is nothing more than a collection of stocks

and or bonds. We can think of a mutual fund as a company that

bring together a group of people and invest their money in stock bonds

and other securities.

To study the performance of the mutual fund schemes in the scenario of global financial crisis,

total of 16 schemes belonging to 3 different companies (Birla Sun Life mutual fund, ICICI

Prudential mutual fund, Reliance Mutual Fund) have been selected. The performances of all the

schemes is studied by taking the NAV and AUM of the schemes from the month of January 2011

to till date .

To study the changes in the portfolio in the recent one year

To identify the information’s needs of retail investors of mutual fund products for informed

decision making.

To get the knowledge on debt short term plan of ICICI, RELIANCE, BIRLA SUN LIFE
