Perform Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic inspection duties on MATV variant of Mine Resistant Ambush

Protected (MRAPs). I am experienced in de-processing MRAP Vehicles which consists of partial tear-down of

the vehicles to prepare it for underbelly armor upgrades. Also have experience installing OGPKs (gunner's

turret), Rhinos (an IED Defeat device), rhino brackets and performing technical inspections on of MRAPs to

make sure they are fully mission capable. Perform the full scope of modification and initial inspection of new,

state-of-the-art, life-saving armored vehicles which contain numerous interconnected and complex

mechanical, non-mechanical systems. The technical scope of my duties included pre-shop analysis, triage,

trouble-shooting all major systems, and vehicle and systems components. I performed visual inspections of

vehicles to identify missing parts of deficiencies prior to release for inspection referencing technical manuals,

diagrams, schematics, work requests, work orders. Installed decals, applicable kit items, straps, etc. I was

required to gain and possess knowledge of the mechanical makeup operating and working relationship of a

variety of heavy combat, heavy mobile, which includes MRAP vehicles and to perform troubleshooting

analysis of all vehicle systems, assemblies, and parts such as diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions,

hydraulic systems, etc. My duties included total disassembly and reassembly in some cases, operate and

drive vehicles as required in diagnosing malfunctions, placing in an operable condition for pre-inspection.

Left Behind Equipment Specialist/Evaluator for TACOM Army Units either to have their weapon systems and

equipment reset (repaired) for them by the RESET program by providing logistical support in identifying

equipment to be RESET and getting it inducted into the program and returned. The Equipment Specialist

/Evaluator also provide support to Units undergoing Modularity transformation, or to provide evaluation and

support for LBE items. Provided logistical services to ensure equipment is tracked, assessed, inducted,

repaired, maintained, handled and returned to Army units according to applicable standards. The equipment

you will be responsible for evaluating (but not limited to) will be wheeled and track vehicles, small arms,

chemical defensive equipment and Soldier Systems material such as shelters, field feeding and field services

items and equipment managed by PM Force Provider. Equipment assessment is defined as -10 Technical

Manual Preventive Maintenance checks and services (PMCS), to include all tasks up to a monthly check.

• Performed equipment assessments on samples of equipment entering LBE, coming out of

LBE source of repair, in Low Usage, and being reissued to units. Coordinated efforts as

required with appropriate AFSBN/LSE/LST. Complete LBE Assessment Tracking sheets and

submit to HQ upon completion of individual and/or team missions.

Orders to identify to ensure completion of repairs, and any deficiency/quality trends or

systemic supply issues for equipment flowing through LBE
