Facilities Mechanical Engineer: (Air Freight Logistics) 2007-2012
• Technical Writer: Developed all facility/equipment PM tasking, scheduling and means time to ensure the life cycle of all components are maintained for maximum reliability and cost efficiency. Created repair parts stock inventory list and levels, ensuring continuous reliability of all facility and Sort equipment.
• Fire Sprinkler Repair License: Maintained a NC license to ensure all fire protection and alarm equipment inspections and tests are properly performed and documented to ensure personnel/facility safety compliance with all State and Local code requirements.
• Safety Coordinator: Issued and ensured compliance of all Hot Work and Confined Space Entry permits, maintained all records for annual inspections. • Facility Warranty Management: Define all warranty issues, contact and describe all deviations with appropriate vendors for corrections of construction work while under warranty, ensuring corrective action and preventing additional cost. Set up Technical Library to maintain all: Warranty documentation, site drawing and equipment documentation for easy reference for repairs parts (facility and sort equipment) with equipment parts numbers (EPN) and location of all stocked parts locations in the parts store.
• Mechanical Engineering: Becoming acclimated with all building and sort equipment designs and specifications, it was my duty to perform final inspections of all mechanical installation during construction. Write up deviations and report to FedEx Properties Engineering and Design Department: Ensure all specifications were maintained. Work with primary contractor to correct deviations. View and verify all commissioning, proper performance and training of all facility and sort equipment.
