Personal Statement

I am a self-motivated, responsible, reliable, hardworking person interested in the

available position. I have been employed with the same company for 25 years with an

exceptional attendance record . I have held the position of crew chief leader, warehouse

lead and inventory control. As a hobby I have done mechanical work on vehicles,

changing engines and transmissions. I have a certificate in welding which I obtained

through the local community college. I can weld in both stick and mig. I am looking to

add to my skills in this area and feel I would be a valuable asset to your company.

Work Experience March 1988-present

Receiving and ordering lead person

Klaussner Furniture, Asheboro NC

Receiving goods on a daily basis, inventory control, computer system worked with is

AS400. I am proficient in Microsoft word. Have RF scan gun experience. I have

operated a forklift both sit down and stand up, cherry pickers. I initiated a stocking

program, do physical inventory and cycle counts.
