I have been a piano and theory teacher for 25 years. I have also taught

high school English, grammar, and literary analysis as a private

instructor. I tutored while in college at Kirkwood Community College in

Iowa, home schooled my own children for 15 years in every grade, and am

currently tutoring an ESL family.

I love education, am currently writing my own English curriculum, and have

created an enjoyable piano theory curriculum that teaches college level

theory material to young students.

I have taught both gifted and talented students as well as those who

struggle to learn. I have determined that everyone has his or her own

learning style and have realized many ways of discovering it.
